These are logos + extra studies for Bolzico Beef, an ongoing food project by Nico Bolzico and Erwan Heussaff. They wanted a texturised logo signature so we added a clean edged "B" (not final yet) as back up, just in case the rough edges were not fit for a certain kind of printing style/size.
Although texturised logos are not common, they both decided to stick with the whole charcoaled look it because of Nico's Argentinian roots - he and his family enjoyed cooking beef on top of open fires back home.
The text was also taken from Erwan and Nico's handwriting. I made them write "Bolzico Beef" a few number of times using a drawing tablet then later edited the letters together on Photoshop.
